FluentStream: Looking Back on 2019

2019 has been a delightful whirlwind of a year for all of us here at FluentStream. 

We've helped over 10,000 clients simplify how they communicate with their customers. We doubled our staff size to ensure that we’re always able to provide the service and support you love. We even added a few more awards to the trophy case.

365 Days of Talk, Text, and Video

48,162,000 Calls

Wowzers… you all made nearly 50 million calls powered by FluentStream this year. If you’ve seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you know that switchboard operators used to be pretty darn quick at connecting calls from one phone to another. Still, as fast as they were, it would have taken 31 years working around the clock for them to manually connect all those calls.

880,000 Texts

Texting has become an increasingly important part of any good business communications plan. We still have some catching up to do though. The average teenager sends 3,300 every single month. That means it would still only take 22 high schoolers of football player-level popularity to send as many texts as all of our clients combined. On the plus side, SMS is clearly how the customers of tomorrow like to communicate. So don’t miss the chance to get started now.

2,092 Video Conferences

Our Meetings video conferencing app didn’t even exist at the start of last year. But in 2019, every single one of the 2,080 working hours included at least one Meetings conference being hosted on our system. That’s 2,080 hours of demoing products for customers, troubleshooting over screenshares, remote interviews with candidates you’re pretty sure are secretly wearing sweatpants. And to the titans of industry who worked the last 12 hours of overtime to get our total up to 2,092—we see you, and you’re all superstars in our eyes.

Nearly Double the Size, More than Double the Love

Another achievement we’re proud of this year is how fast we’ve been able to add more people to better serve our clients. Since January, we’ve doubled our team with a whole new generation of amazing, hard-working Streamers.

Across every department, our new additions have helped us continuously improve our service and build new features that benefit your business.. In fact, our most recent FluentStream Superstar Tyson Anderson was among our 2019 new additions.

In the past year, we’ve more than doubled our team and worked with our amazing clients to achieve a growth rate of over 295%. In response, the Inc. 5000 List raised us 768 spots and named us one of the Top 25 Companies in Denver.
